Your Core Responsibilities

You will drive technical experiments to characterize our robot arm performances.

Your Day-to-day Activities

Design and implement test benches:
- source hardware components
- design and manufacture mechanical fixtures
- validate performances of test benches

Design and implement characterization protocols to assess performances of a haptic robot arm:
- force measurement at the end effector of the robot
- force measurement at the surgical instrument tool tip
- end effector position accuracy

Document and summarize outputs of experimental experiments:
- Write scripts to extract data and run statistical analysis
- Organize and document outputs data for reuse
- Write technical study report

Profil recherché

- Engineering degree or Graduate student in robotics
- Ideally has experience with Matlab or Python or R
- Looking for a 4 to 6 month internship
- Deep interest in medical and/or robotic applications
