After a year of community building and a round of funding closed with industry professionals, we are starting to monetize.

Description de la mission

We are excited to have you join the growth team we are currently putting together at Spotr. You will be the main driver for the rollout of a new business-to-business solution allowing standout private establishments to rent their space to photo and video professionals for photoshoots and shootings. As a Business Developer Intern, you welcome the challenges of consolidating the partnerships we’ve built with existing customers, and also bring in new ones through sales efforts.

While reporting directly to the co-founders, you are left with complete autonomy at work. Your daily tasks include but are not limited to:

・growing the business by actively prospecting establishments and do your very best to turn them into customers. You will often be dealing with managing staffs at hotels, bars, restaurants, concept stores, barber shops or any private establishment with a distinctive aesthetic, design or interior decoration that may appeal to photo and video professionals. We’ll help you find these establishments and approach them ;

・be on the lookout for new, exciting establishment openings ;

・organize and manage your leads in our internal database so we can track your progress and help you close deals if necessary. We use Airtable. It’s a very easy tool to get used to ;

・onboard new customers by providing exceptional service from the moment you first make contact and all along the relationship. We take customer care very seriously and aspire to reduce customers'involvement to the bare minimum ;

・occasionally get in touch with production agencies and brands to showcase our repertoire of partnering establishments and encourage them to turn to us for creative projects requiring indoor production ;

・produce and update pitching presentations using Keynote.

Profil recherché

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or engineering looking for a 3 to 6 months internship, preferably in a fast-moving environment or a startup.

You are probably a fit for this role if you :

・are a natural-born seller with a tenacious drive ;
・won’t take “no for an answer ;
・show up to work with a “can-do attitude ;
・have superior verbal communication and can be persuasive ;
・are up for the challenge and result-driven ;
・are organized and rigorous in the way you do business ;
・learn faster than others ;
・speak fluent French and English ;
・have a real interest for digital, tech and photography ;
・are proficient with the use of Keynote.

Additional bonus points if you :

・have previous experience in a sales role at a startup ;
・have a genuine sensitivity and receptivity to design and aesthetic ;
・are proficient with the use of airtable.
