Danny, 30 years old French man joins the association, Mirissa for Life for a micro credit program set up in Sri Lanka. Screening on November 22sd at 7 pm and on November 24th at 10.45 am.
Danny, 30 years old French man, decides to dedicate his life to humanitarian aid. He joins the association, Mirissa for Life for a micro credit program set up in Sri Lanka. The purpose is to help the inhabitants of a local village named Mirissa to rebuild the village and their lives. Campbell, an American 30 years old man, also participates to this humanitarian mission that will reveal to be socially and humanly more complicated than what expected. Occidental culture, even when it is generous, can be miles away from oriental philosophy.
Assisted by Pradeep, an inhabitant of the village, the two volunteers are facing the gap between both civilizations that they will need to understand and overpass to reach the objective of the mission. The director, Shira Rotlevi, films in real cinema, the difficulties and achievements of the members of the mission…
