The regional council and the environment
Air quality, rural areas, alternative energies, cycle tracks, waste treatment … the regional council works on all these fronts to preserve the environment.
A green and living countryside
The countryside has its rights too in ÃŽle-de-France, whether it is farmed or not. The regional council intends to guarantee these for the well-being of its inhabitants.
Acting for a quality environment
The regional council has opted for sustainable growth, controlled urban development and the preservation of natural resources and areas.
Improving air and water quality
Water, air, noise…. the regional council has been involved in some notable initiatives, such as the setting-up of cycle tracks.
Developing new forms of energy
The regional council has adopted a plan to control energy consumption and develop renewable energies. Grants to private individuals and property lessors are planned.
Treating waste
The regional council is drawing up three plans to improve the elimination of household waste, dangerous waste and hospital waste.
